Turkey’s Erdogan Says U.S. Supports ISIL: ‘We Have Evidence With Pictures & Videos’

The Turkish President, Recep Teyyip Erdogan has recently announced “its very clear” that the U.S led coalition is supporting terrorist groups in Syria. Furthermore, he says he has proof of this fact and is willing to share it with the masses.

The statement merely highlighted what many throughout the world have been accusing the U.S of for quite some time.

“They [the U.S.] give support to terrorist groups including Daesh (IS/ISIL). We have confirmed evidence, with pictures, photos, and videos.”
At this time, Erdogan’s evidence has not yet been made public.
Iran’s Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan followed the statement, by saying,

“The Western coalition is of a formal nature, they have no real intention to fight neither in Syria nor in Iraq. We don’t see any readiness on their part to play a truly useful and meaningful role in fighting IS because it’s them who have raised terrorists and they are interested in keeping them there. Maybe the coalition forces would like to see terrorists weakened, but certainly not destroyed because those terrorists are their tool for destabilizing this region and some other parts of the world.”

Due to a recently introduced bill by the U.S House Representative Tulsi Gabbard, this statement is no longer one of theory. In her bill, Gabbard requested that the U.S government discontinue their funding and supporting of ISIL. In her own words, she stated,

“If you or I gave money, weapons or support to al-Qaeda or ISIS, we would be thrown in jail. Why does our gov get a free pass on this? The CIA has also been funneling weapons and money through Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar and others who provide direct and indirect support to groups like ISIS and al-Qaeda. This madness must end. We must stop arming terrorists. The Government must end this hypocrisy and abide by the same laws that apply to its’ citizens.”

The most ironic part about the statement is the fact that he is calling out the U.S for doing the same thing that he does. If you merely look back at the above statement, you can clearly see that Turkey is included in the list.

So, maybe Turkey has stopped their participation with the CIA and other groups which brought aid to the Islamic state. Over the past few months, Putin and Erdogan had made it clear that they are willing to cooperate with one another. Just yesterday, Moscow announced that they will be “intensifying cooperation” between Turkey, Iran and themselves within Syria.

The ISIL was defeated in Aleppo, the biggest battle to date, and they are also being defeated in Mosul, Iraq. Iraq’s Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi told the world yesterday that the ISIL would be defeated within three months. Could it be that Turkey has completely sided with the East and left the Western world behind? We will have to await further news to decide if that is the case or not, and until then the world will be watching in anticipation to see.
